Who We Are

Slow Dough Bakery LLC specializes in producing and selling sourdough baked goods using wild fermentation instead of commercial yeast. The products range from slow-rise artisan loaves to decadent brownies made with sourdough discard.

Classic Artisan Loaf

Our classic artisan loaf is simply made with flour, water, and salt. Produced without commercial yeast, and instead relying on a fermented starter of flour and water. The long, slow fermentation develops an amazing flavor that only wild yeast can achieve. You’ll receive that iconic crunchy crust and airy crumb every time.

Seeded Ancient Grain Loaf

If you’re looking for a texture-rich, earthy flavor to your bread, look no further. Our seeded ancient grain loaf is packed full of nutrient-dense seeds. This bread has such an addictive crust when toasted… similar to a crunchy multigrain cracker. Slice thin and spread with salted butter, avocado, or cream cheese. You’ll be hooked.

Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Don’t forget dessert! If you like brown butter cookies, you’ll LOVE these. Made with sourdough discard and kept chilled in the fridge before baking, these cookies have an insane flavor that will keep you coming back for just one more.

Start your morning with one of our yummy, slow rise bagels. Dense, yet soft, these chewy bagels offer a highly satisfying texture and flavor profile. Pair with your favorite spread for the perfect start to your day.

Blueberry Muffins

Your morning coffee needs a buddy and these muffins are IT. Unbelievably moist and tender with a pop of juicy blueberry in every bite. Each muffin is finished with a crumbly streusel topping that gives you that satisfying crunch. Total game changer.

Pumpkin Snickerdoodles

Our favorite season is coming and so is a delicious pumpkin treat! Soft and dense, these chewy cookies combine the taste of a traditional snickerdoodle with the warm spices of an autumn pumpkin pie. Try them before they’re gone!

Cinnamon Rolls

Get ready for a pillowy, sweet dough and buttery cinnamon filling. The wild yeast in these rolls give it a nice, mild tang that pairs well with the sugary middle. Proofing overnight allows the dough to slow-ferment creating a deep and complex flavor. These cinnamon rolls are guaranteed to be a huge hit!

Brownies

Are you craving something chocolatey and rich? Look no further than our incredibly decadent brownies. Made with sourdough discard and loads of chocolate, these brownies are so good you’ll think an Oompa Loompa made ‘em. But seriously, make sure you have ice cold milk on hand.

Our products are prepared in a kitchen that is not subject to inspection by the MO Department of Health and Senior Services.
